Instrumental Music class contributions are necessary in the sustainability of the Cal High Instrumental Music Program. Since our entire program is self-funded and relies 100% on donations (the district and site do not financially help our program), everyone's contribution plays a vital role in covering expenses associated with the following CHS Music Classes: Jazz Band, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Strings Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra. Funding is used to purchase music, maintain the music library, repair and purchase instruments, maintain the instrument inventory, pay clinicians, cover entrance fees for music festivals, and support general band and orchestra costs such as music stands and other equipment to enhance quality music education.
